Compensation : $58 – 68 Hourly
Summary :
– We are seeking a Senior Mainframe Engineer in the Merrimack, NH area.
– In this role, you will deploy and support software releases into production
environments.
Requirements :
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent
experience.
– Proven expertise with mainframe technologies and working knowledge of
distributed systems.
– Extensive experience in SQL language.
– Strong knowledge of and experience with the overall testing process.
– Any knowledge or experience in distributed technologies, cloud computing,
and/or Java programming is a plus.
– Solid hands-on development skills in mainframe languages and
technologies (Cobol, CICS, VSAM, JCL, utilities, FileAid, Endeavor,
debuggers, schedulers, etc.).
– Proficiency with the DB2 database management system and database
processing concepts.
– Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities;
Capacity to successfully implement complex solutions in a dynamic
environment.
– Relevant certifications in mainframe and distributed technologies are
desirable.
