Salary : $70K-$130K (DOE)

Summary :
– VDC Engineer Bozeman, MT or Belgrade, MT (candidates must be
interested in relocating to MT or in MT currently)
– This client is hiring everything from Supers, Estimators, PMs, SR PMs,
Directors, and VPs of Civil and Mechanical Engineering openings.
– Salary range can be much higher than the range posted for the VDC
opening
Position Overview :
– We are seeking a skilled VDC Engineer to join our team, responsible for
creating and managing virtual design and construction processes.
– The ideal candidate will leverage advanced technologies to improve project
outcomes and streamline construction processes, ensuring efficiency and
quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities :
– Develop and implement virtual design and construction strategies to
enhance project delivery.
– Collaborate with project teams to create detailed 3D models and
simulations using BIM software.
– Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure
alignment of design and construction activities.
– Analyze project requirements and provide technical expertise in
VDC-related tasks.
– Support pre construction efforts by creating accurate estimates and
maintaining project schedules.
– Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks for
model creation and analysis.
– Facilitate communication and collaboration between project
stakeholders through effective use of VDC technologies.
Qualifications :
– Proven experience as a VDC Engineer or similar role in the construction
industry.
– Proven experience working with or for mechanical contractors
– Strong knowledge of BIM processes and tools, including Autodesk and
Bluebeam.
– Familiarity with construction methods and practices, particularly in
mechanical contracting.
– Proficient in software applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks,
and Procore.
– Experience with MEP systems and understanding of plumbing, HVAC,
and mechanical systems.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate
effectively with diverse stakeholders.
