critical in supporting project managers and ensuring
successful execution of commercial, industrial, and
agricultural construction projects. The ideal candidate

Full time : Project Engineer – Commercial Construction

Salary : $90,000 – $120,000 /yr

Summary :

– We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to join our
construction team.
– This role is critical in supporting project managers and ensuring successful
execution of commercial, industrial, and agricultural construction projects.
– The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent
organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities :

– Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction projects from
start to finish.
– Prepare and review project documentation, including drawings,
specifications, and submittals.
– Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with design standards, safety
regulations, and timelines.
– Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to
resolve technical issues.
– Support cost control efforts by tracking budgets, change orders, and material
procurement.
– Conduct site visits to verify work quality and adherence to project plans.
– Maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications :

– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related
field.
– 3+ years of experience in construction or engineering roles (commercial or
industrial projects preferred).
– Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Strong understanding of construction methods, codes, and safety standards.
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced
environment.

Preferred Skills :

– Experience with design/build projects.
– Knowledge of roofing systems, coatings, and solar installations is a plus.
– Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes.
