Overview :
The position will entail forensic and litigation support as well as consulting assignments. The candidate will be involved in cases involving commercial damage computations, lost profits arising from breach of contracts, and business interruptions. A wide range of different forensic engagements are also performed including cases involving insurance claims, money laundering, and asset misappropriation.
Responsibilities :
– Forensic research
– Document review
– Searches for evidentiary support
– Performing due diligence in connection with proposed acquisitions
– Internal control reviews
– Internal corporate investigations
– Performance of Securities Litigation cases relating to financial statement frauds of public companies
– Reading various public filings (i.e., Forms 10-K and 10-Q)
Qualifications :
1. 6+ years experience in the forensic practice of a Public Accounting firm
2. CPA
3. CFE preferred
