POSITION PURPOSE:

– The primary purpose of this position is to partner with the plant leadership to
promote a proactive safety culture by identifying and eliminating hazards before
an incident occurs.
– Assists the Safety Manager with the implementation and maintenance of
policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety
regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. 

–  This includes the determination of root cause(s), assigning
corrective actions, and tracking those actions to closure with the goal of
preventing similar incidents in the future.
– Develop and deliver plant safety training to all associates on a monthly basis.
Review site training program and make revisions as needed to improve
training effectiveness and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
– Conduct specialized safety training.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each

2. Must have supervisory experience in a high volume, fast-paced facility.
3. Previous experience, and/or an undergraduate degree, in safety plus
4. Certificates, licenses, registrations:
5. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
6. CPE, CSP or CIH certification is a plus.
