Audit Manager – Governmental and Non-Profit Entities

Relocation : no

Location : Bethesda MD

Salary : 100,000 – 135,000

Industry : Public Accounting

Summary :

Regional CPA firm is seeking an Audit Manager for its Governmental and Non-Profit
entity practice.

Responsibilities :

– Planning and executing day-to-day activities of audit engagements for governmental
and nonprofit clients
– Identifying and communicating accounting and auditing matters to Managers and
Partners
– Building relationships with clients
– Applying knowledge and comprehension of professional accounting and auditing
standards to client organizations, including those requiring Single Audits
– Supervising and reviewing senior and associate work, providing feedback and guidance
– Assisting where needed in the preparation of financial statements
– Preparation of Form 990 for nonprofit and certain governmental organizations

Qualifications :

1. CPA
2. 8+ years experience
3. Public Accounting experience
4. Experience with governmental organizations
5. Experience in performing Single Audits related to federal awards programs
6. Experience auditing nonprofit organizations, including preparation and review of the
Form 990.
