Summary :

– We need a Network Engineer to join our team in Washington D.C.
– As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing,
and maintaining our company’s network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

– Design and implement network infrastructure including routers, switches,
firewalls, and other network devices.
– Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
– Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining appropriate security
measures.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement network
solutions that align with business needs.
– Conduct regular network upgrades and updates to improve performance and
security.
– Maintain documentation of network configurations and procedures.
– Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT team
members.
– Stay current with industry trends and advancements in networking
technology.
– Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Qualifications :

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related
field.
– Minimum of 4 years of experience in network engineering or administration.
– Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP,
and VLANs.
– Experience with Cisco networking equipment and Cisco IOS.
– Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
– Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
– Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are a plus.
